The last part of January we headed up north to right outside of Flagstaff a community called Bellemont where Kelvins Aunt and family lives. We decided to spend the day playing in the snow! Lexie loved playing in the snow. She loved going down mini slopes on the boogy board. We stayed out for a few hours then drove and hour to the Grand Canyon. I have never been so really wanted to go. It was even more beautiful in person than in pics I've seen.

On December 30, 2010 my family got sealed in the Mesa Temple. It was such a wonderful day I will cherish forever. It was neat to be in the Temple and to have the support of all my family and friends. After we took some pics outside the Temple in the windy weather we headed to Tia Rosa's for luncheon. I had a cake made for the lunch. It tasted soo good, and was so pretty. I had fun picking out how I exactly wanted it to look! I am so thankful that i was able to get sealed to my husband and little girl for all time and Eternity.

So Thanksgiving 2010 we decided to pack up our car and travel 12 hours to Utah! We thought it would be fun to go out of state to be with family, some I have never met. Let me tell you Snow is something I'm not use to, it was very nerve racking to drive in. We drove thru a blizzard the last few hours right before we got to North Ogden where we stayed with his brother and family. We celebrated Thanksgiving a day early with Kelvins moms side in Smithfield/Logan! It was held at one of the LDS churches there! On Thanksgiving day we hung out at his Uncle's house in Logan and went sledding with his cousins! My Grandparents came down from Grace, Idaho to spend the Holiday with my Aunt DeAnn in Clearfield, so we got to visit them! It was so nice seeing all of them, I love how my Grandma said " Lexie is a cutie but sure is a handful, so true!hah We had to watch her every second at my Aunts because it definitely wasn't child proof! The last night we got to stay at the Hilton down by Temple square. I have never seen the lights before, they were so beautiful. Despite the very cold weather we had a very nice to spending Thanksgiving with family!

My little Lexie has grown up so quickly, I can't believe she is two. I know every mother says it but time does fly. I have really enjoyed being a mother to this little girl, she is always so happy and smiley ( sometimes) :). She is definitely in her terrible two's , she entered that a bit early. She talks so much for her age, it amazes me what she can say, she must listen well to what others say, she's a little parrot also. Tomorrow we have her 2 year check-up so I will have to see what her height and weight stats are. I am so blessed to have such a great little girl. I love looking back at all her photos from these past two years to see how much she has changed. I still call her baby, which i probably shouldn't do but to me she will always be my beautiful little baby that came out with a load of hair on her head. haah

This past week my niece Jaycie who is a little less than 7 months older than Lexie came to stay a whole week with us! It was so fun for Lexie to always have a friend to play with and keep her entertained, and out of mommy's hair :). We bought a little blow up pool for the girls although we have a pool, I wanted one for the girls to play and do whatever they wanted with. Everyday, twice a day they would swim! One of the days we went to the local library to play and read books. It was a bit cooler so we went and played on the playground! The last day it was really nice weather so we went and fed the ducks! I felt like a had twins, but it was such a fun week with the girls! Here are some pics of them throughout the week!

This past week my friend Erin who has a year pass to go to the zoo invited Lexie and I to join her and her daughter for a fun day at the zoo! We had a great time with all the other millions of mothers pushing strollers and chasing kids around. This was Lexie's second time going, but first time that I think she somewhat understood about the animals! Her favorite animals were the Goats which she called "Dogs". She loved petting them and tried to give them kisses. By the end of the three hours we were there Lexie had fallen asleep! I think she enjoyed getting out of the house as did I!

This year for Halloween we went to our wards Trunk-or-Treat!Lexie had a blast just walking around and getting candy. She really had no clue as to what was going on but it was fun seeing her reactions to all the different costumes people had on! I can't believe a year is flown by since Lexie has been born! It amazes me all the milestones babies can accomplish just in one year! She is getting bigger everyday and learns something new everyday! Here are some milestones she has made by her first Birthday:

There is so much more I could say about my little Lexie. I can't imagine my life without her, she is such a ray of sunlight, everybody loves her happy, smiley personality! She brings alot of happiness to my family and we love her very much! We had a little party with our friends and family at our house last Saturday it was so much fun to have a get together, and we had a great turnout! Here are some pics from the party!

Apache Lake

On Labor Day Kelvin and I decided to head up to Canyon Lake to go on a picnic, but decided to go a little further to Apache Lake and somehow ended up renting a boat! It was so fun to have just our little family together! Lexie loved it, she just wanted to jump right in! It was such a nice day to go to the lake, and it wasn't even that busy.Lex loved steering the boat with her daddy, and tried to escape off the boat a few times.hah Near the end of our boat ride someone became very cranky, but i knew she was just tired. Lexie was asleep within two minutes of getting into the car. Overall, we had a great day together, and love spending time with eachother!

My sweet little girl is growing so fast
These are some recent photos I have taken of Lexie over this past week! I can't believe she is already 10 months! Today we went in to get her height and weight measurements. She weighs 21lbs and is in the 95th percentile for her weight, and she measures 29in for her height, putting her in the 36th percentile. She is such a Happy little girl, and loves to smile. Lexie loves to swim, and recently just learned how to walk, although she started pulling herself up on couches and walking holding onto things at 7 months!
